Jasmin, Activist and Artist – Earth | Universe
The one thing project brings together personal stories and meaningful connections from all corners of the world. Through photo portraits and intimate interviews, I’ve had the privilege of meeting people from diverse cultures, each sharing the story behind their most treasured item. From Japanese to Germans, Columbians, Vietnamese and French individuals, these portraits give an idea into what truly matters to them. Each portrait tells a story about mindful ownership, which leads to mindful use of resources, conscious consumption and sustainability.
What you see here on the website is just a glimpse of the full collection, with many more stories and portraits yet to be shared. The project continues to evolve with new series. I’m also collecting submission. What’s the one item that holds deep meaning for you? I’m inviting you to share it with us and become part of a movement that celebrates the things that truly matter. Join the one thing project today by submitting a photo of your cherished object. Visit our submission section to take part and share what truly matters to you.
If you’d like to collaborate or learn more, feel free to reach out, and don’t forget to follow the one thing project on Instagram for the latest updates and stories.
